PATIENT QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about appointments, treatment, insurance, and what to expect.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We do not accept walk-ins, but same-day appointments may be available based on the schedule. If you have an urgent concern, please call the office and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Do I need a referral to make an appointment?

No. You do not need a referral to schedule an appointment. You can contact our office directly to get started.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We accept many major insurance plans. Coverage and benefits vary by plan, so please call our office to verify your insurance before your visit. Self-pay options are also available.

Do I need to be an athlete to be treated here?

Not at all. We care for patients of all ages—from newborns to older adults—and tailor care to each person’s needs, goals, and health history. Some treatments may not be appropriate for every patient, so recommendations are made on an individual basis.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing whenever possible so we can easily assess and treat the area that’s bothering you. If you’ll be doing rehabilitation or exercise, bring athletic clothing and supportive gym shoes. Gowns are also available when needed.

Will I be adjusted at my first visit?

It depends. Your first visit begins with an evaluation so we can understand what’s going on and determine the most appropriate approach. Whether an adjustment is performed that day depends on your individual findings, needs, and comfort level.

How long does a typical appointment take?

Plan for approximately 90 minutes for your first visit. Most follow-up appointments take about 45–60 minutes, depending on your treatment plan and what’s needed that day.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?

You don’t need to choose a treatment on your own. Dr. McCulloch will evaluate your condition, discuss your goals, and recommend a treatment plan based on your individual needs and findings.
